At Sparsh Global School- Greater Noida, as a part of the integrated project, grade VIII successfully collected e-waste from grades I to VIII. To ensure proper disposal and enhance students’ understanding, Karo Sambhav, an e-waste organization representative, enlightened students about the generation and disposal of e-waste. Students were also informed about the hazardous that e-waste contains, such as lead, mercury, and cadmium which can cause serious harm to the environment and human health if not handled properly. For example, lead in e-waste can contaminate soil and water sources, causing serious harm to both wildlife and human populations.
