Football Tournament 2023

Sparsh Global School proudly played host to a spectacular Interschool District Football Tournament for under-12 teams on the 30th and 31st of October 2023. The event witnessed the participation of 22 schools from the district, all vying for glory in this spirited competition. Distinguished guests, including Ms. Anita Nagar, District Sports Officer; Mr. Sushil Rajput, President of the District Football Association; Mr. Azad Singh, Vice President of the District Football Association; and Mr. Wazid Ali, Honorable General Secretary of the Football Association, Gautam Budh Nagar, graced the occasion.

The tournament, held on the Sparsh Global School grounds, was a two-day extravaganza filled with sportsmanship, camaraderie, and an undeniable passion for football. The tournament featured a total of 22 teams from various schools in the district who came together to showcase their skills and teamwork, creating an electrifying atmosphere that resonated throughout the campus.

The closing ceremony was a moment of celebration and reflection, as the winning teams were honoured for their outstanding performance, and individual talents were recognized. First position was held by Cambridge School, Noida; Second position by Pragyan School, Greater Noida and the third position by Cambridge School, Greater Noida. The winners were awarded with trophies and certificates. Many congratulations to the winning teams.

We extend our sincere gratitude to all the participating schools, the esteemed guests of honour, the dedicated coaches and staff, and, most importantly, the young athletes whose passion for football made this tournament a resounding success.
