Hands on Activity in Grade IX

Sustainable Fashion - Grade IX Newspaper Dresses- Hands on activity 

The primary objective of this activity was to educate Grade IX students about SDG 12: Responsible Consumption and Production, specifically focusing on sustainable fashion. By creating dresses from recycled newspaper, the students learned about the environmental impact of the fashion industry and the importance of reusing and recycling materials. This hands-on project aimed to foster creativity, raise awareness about sustainability, and encourage responsible consumption habits. 

The project culminated in a small fashion show, where students proudly displayed their creations and explained the significance of sustainable fashion.
